Excellent comment/insights! Also, we're largely immune to international law given the extent to which we can unilaterally set (and reset) rules as we see fit. Trump is testing this theory/outlook to the nth degree. We'll see how the world reacts.

News to me that the Kushner family and Netanyahu are longtime friends: "The Kushners consider Netanyahu part of the family, and it is often told of how the future Prime Minister was, during Jared’s boyhood, a frequent overnight guest in the Kushner New Jersey home and even slept in his room."
