Some people have different interpretations of what the path of least resistance means. A quote by H.G. Wells says "The path of least resistance is the path of the loser." By this statement, I believe he is referring to taking the lazy river, or easy road, rather than taking on a challenge, pushing limits, i.e. taking the "high road" as opposed to the low road. But this is just one person's angle on the topic. It is important to pay attention to our own perception, and that we take time to evaluate and define what this really means for each of us.
If we think about resistance being that which we create from our own space, then the path of resistance comes from the limitations that we place on ourselves. If there is hesitation, lack of that feeling of security, de-value ourselves, or feel something is too hard or impossible to accomplish, these thoughts place a blocking mechanism to having or achieving what we really want. More often than not, when people feel indecision, pressure, or just trying to "get by" more often people take the safest, easiest, and quickest route which most of the time leads to settling on a decision (insert issue here) like choosing a job, partner in a relationship, etc., that is less than favorable to what we deserve, need, or want.
How about this: think about creating a flow in the direction you really want to go in, which really is the path of least resistance if your heart & desire is set on what you want. To swim with the current you must believe there is an invisible force that is out there waiting for you to use it. It is that energy inside of you, and that which you share in the space around you and with other people.
If you are aware of the Law of Attraction, quite certainly you have experienced at one point or another that it is a real thing, a positive or negative magnetic force that is available to anyone. When you use this energy to your advantage (positively), great things can occur for you. You attract the right people who connect you to the right resources that can take you in the direction you want to go. These connections help lead you on the path of least resistance, because now you have guidance and help, which eases your struggle. Obviously there is payoff when everything falls into place. Yes, you must put in energy...but that doesn't mean you have to give up everything & work around the clock to get what you want, you just have to practice visualizing.
Pay attention to the words or story you are saying and creating within your mind. What are you saying? What are you putting your attention on? When you discover that your attention is put on something not worth your time, energy, or beneficial to your well-being or your goals, that is your clue to tune out and change the station! In addition, the most sensible way to handle this is to take that mental conversation inside yourself and turn it into a vibrational conversation between you and the powerful vortex that surrounds you.
If you think it, you become it. Be it, feel it, taste it, smell it...you must visualize, talk about, and allow yourself to research and learn, so that every day you will draw in opportunities without any effort other than just thinking about it. Pay attention to the signals your body sends you as you process stuff. Our bodies respond vibrationally to our mental verbiage and interpretations. So if you want a sign on which direction to go, you got answers already built into yourself!
