“He said that Saudi Arabia had issued an arrest warrant for al-Qaeda leader Usamah Bin Laden in the 1990s, but that he was protected by Western interests who saw him as a freedom fighter [because of his role fighting the Soviets in Afghanistan.]

My guess is that MbS has dirt on Western intelligence agencies in this regard, and this remark was intended to intimidate them. The US Congress has allowed Saudi Arabia to be sued over the September 11, 2001, attacks, although there is no evidence that the Saudi Government was involved, and there is ample evidence that Western agencies backed Bin Laden’s hosts and supporters in Afghanistan.”

Progressive movements & peace loving individuals and institutions in Iran, Turkey, KSA & elsewhere in middle east are the only hopes for peace & stability in the region.
But such basic simple facts are beyond the comprehension of criminal KSA royalty, or "our own" cyber Basij snakes.

Genuinely peace-loving individuals might find their mention in the same sentence as "progressive movements" (translation: Trotskyites) quite disturbing.

By definition, for all genuinely peace-loving individual and institutions, cyber basij snakes and their warmongering mullahs snake overlords are the most disturbed and disturbing elements in Iran.

That's better - you omitted "progressive movements" from the equation, since they have proven repeatedly that they have no place in real world politics. Trolling online fora is a much better place for them, since they have never offered any peaceful solutions and can only come to power by violent revolutions, and only stay in power by more violence and terror - again this is why they made such good allies with the mullahs.

No, cyber basij snakes and their mullah snake overloads are the ones with no place in the world, but the garbage bin of history.
Every single Social Liberty and every single Social Right in the world is here thanks to the struggles, achievement and sacrifices of the progressive movements throughout the history. But comprehensions of such basic historical facts is beyond the capacities of a puny fascist mindset.
Cyber basij snakes desperate resort to SAVAK propaganda is the ultimate signs of their defeat and hopelessness.

Leftist activists in Iran have excluded themselves from the current political system by their own poor decisions, in similar fashion to what happened elsewhere, but worse given the severe outcomes so many faced. It is their right as communists to make bad decisions, but they shouldn't expect any sympathy, especially when their bad decisions have had such a disastrous impact on Iran as a whole.

No, all social activists (Liberal, Religious, Left, Right, Environmentalists,...) who oppose this system (or if mullahs have the slightest insecurity about them) have been subjected to most barbaric, savage repression known in human history. Only in 1980's there were two waves of mass execution of all political prisoners resulting in killing of thousands of innocent, defenseless political prisoners.
Only cyber basij snakes pretend not to be aware of this monstrous, shameful history of Islamic Republic of Hell.
Cyber basij snakes desperate resort to SAVAK propaganda is a definite sign of their exhaustion and hopelessness.

Maybe some of them were innocent, but others, who helped the revolution, share in the guilt of the atrocities that transition wrought upon the people, and therefore deserved punishment even if by hypocrites.

No, all of them were innocent and there are tons of documents proving this fact beyond a doubt. Only cyber basij snakes are still trying to dispute these long accepted facts and make their mullah snake overlord look good.

Yeah, according to communists, they were all innocent, but according to any rational person there is no way they were all innocent. Any of them who helped transform Iran into its current utopian state were guilty of a national atrocity and deserved some kind of punishment.

Who always oppose the death penalty and lack of due process as a matter of course. I wonder if your communist regime, had you ever instituted it, would have eliminated capital punishment. Highly doubtful. Communists as a rule are happy to resort to execution when it suits them, but cry loudly when members of their movement get a dose of that same medicine.

When and if the Iranian communist useful idiots make another attempt at revolution, they will be used, absued, chewed up and spat out yet again, and given the trail of destruction they invariably leave behind, they deserve it.

Yes of course the opponents of Saudi Arabia and its American-led axis will jump all over statements like this. They are constantly waiting in the wings, ready to pounce with their appeals to hypocrisy, not realising that they are actually being manipulated in this psy-op of provocative words. In fact, anti-establishment, anti-imperialist activists have always been very good at blowing their cover and getting themselves in big trouble in their overreactions to mere words. It's a failed strategy.

Leaving aside the hypocrisy, there is truth in the assertion embodied in the headline. Can anyone honestly say the entities listed are acting in the interests of innocent civilians caught up in regional conflicts? They're not. There are no good guys here.
