Small win related to confiscated funds by Facebook. The money will be returned and Facebook will add another $200K to help the victims of earthquake.
بعد از مذاکره با فیسبوک قرار شده پول کمک‌کنندگان به آنها باز گردانده شده و در ازای آن خود فیسبوک همین میزان به آن کمپین اهدا کند.

Hundreds are dead, thousands injured,
homeless, 15 thousand homes destroyed and Iranians living in US pissed off at fucking Facebook for confiscating $200,000 that was donated to be sent for victims.
And what do we see as the leading news item on Iranians?
Did Iranians made the first wine or?
And what was before it? A report about whatever.
Are you serious?
Cold, detached and clueless.

Sorry to hear you had such a bad experience, reckon if it's so essential for you, sending them an article won't take more than a few minutes.
BTW, do you know what that "community organization" NIAC is doing for earthquake relief?

Thank you kindly for the timely and useful information.
Wonder why it wasn't sent to IC, or here, for publication?!
I'm also sure there were no intentions of sounding snarky, condescending or sanctimonious, but there are elements of all three is those last lines.
Perhaps the teaching moment here could be: when you can do something, JUST DO IT!
Don't just complain, explain and publish!
As they used to say back in 40's & 50's: "Accentuate the positive, eliminate the negative, latch onto the affirmative" (And don't forget to post on IC &TT)!
Or as most beautifully put by our own Rodaki (especially the first hemistich of the last verse).

It is more like disappointment, frustration and anger. I was expecting iranian.com to take the initiative and channel its energy into earthquake recovery efforts in Iran such as fund raising, etc. But then again, it is what it is.

Baby rescued from rubble three days after Iran earthquake. The miracle child was photographed with a smile on his face after being pulled from the rubble of Sarpol-e-Zahab. photo:

More incoherent gibberish.
How will taking aid from Israel solve the sanctions issue for Iranians trying to send help to Iran?

I knew you wouldn't be able to resist having a bite at that one.

Regarding your question, there's very little Iranians living abroad can do. Now, why is that? Are they going to step up and make things change? No way. Therefore, it's their own fault.

Fatmeh Komandos should save their breath for transmitting Kayhan propaganda and obtuse fearmongering. Their world is only connected to mullahs and mullahs needs.
In the real world however Iranians thrive and continue to help each other despite all the obstacles created by mullahs and others.
One Iranian was able to raise $200,000 in two days and eventually Facebook also added another $200,000 to that, That's almost half a million dollars that would never register is Fatmeh Komandos world, because Fatmeh Komandos world in devoid of any reality, humanity or rationality. It's only packed with mullahs degenerate ethos, which is nothing but filth and scum.
The whole world is changing all the time, but Fatmeh Komandos are the permanently stuck in the Neanderthal Stone age of mullahs.

Yeah, $200,000 is great, but if there wasn't a problem, this article wouldn't have been written. Obviously there is an obstacle to helping Iranians in need, in the form of sanctions. But the Iranians themselves are partly responsible for that obstacle. This is the system they want to live under, otherwise they would have done something about it.

Obviously you're so withdrawn into mullahs dark ages that you can't even follow simple news and find out how all that money has found its way to Iran.
Fatmeh Komandos who until yesterday were pushing AN as the 'saviour' and are now hiding behind a 'nationalist' cover are to blame for many of our problems.
Iranian people solve problems.
Scumbag, filthy Hezbollahis are the ones creating problems.
Don't get it twisted.

Maybe if people like you hadn't supported the overthrow of the Shah, Iran wouldn't be under sanctions now. Had you ever stopped to consider that? Of course not. All you can do is scream victim. You helped screw Iran, now you can help fix it.

Maybe if your Hezbollahi cousin weren't a bunch of wall jumpers we wouldn't have had sanctions.
We all recall how you were pushing AN's garbage.
Screaming is all yours.
Enlightenment is all ours.
Though Neanderthal Stone age Fatmeh Komandos are beyond Enlightenment.

If enlightenment is all yours, you would have seen that the revolution of 1979 was a bad idea. But just like those who eventually won, you craved power, and were willing to risk it all to get it. Well, you risked it all and lost it all.
