I'm a programmer/architect by trade, and a long-time drummer, vocalist and writer. I grew up hauling hay and tipping cows in rural Kansas and Oklahoma, but have been in the Bay Area for over 15 years now. A cool cat and 3 dope kids round me out.

What's truly disgusting is how many people share his worldview. This is the kind of grassroots hate that percolates beneath the ignorant frustration much of this country is smothered in.

A kind of weird intersection of video gaming, video game banning, and interview about such. :)

There's a popular Reddit subreddit called /nottheonion, specifically referring to article titles that look as if they may have been created on the satire site theonion.com.

In the Bay Area we're so lucky to have access to so many wonderful Persian restaurants - there are even some markets with a charcoal grill out front serving up wonderful street food that I've been told is as authentic as it comes.

A good read, but as someone who's been married to a Mexicana esposa for almost 20 years (and lived in Guanajuato!), watch out for "No mames" - it also has a coarser implication which can make it a rude phrase to use in polite conversation.
