Hi @JennyB we live in Europe travelling from country to country on a full time basis. Don't let the alerts put you off travelling. It is quite safe here providing you take the usual precautions. It astounded us at how cruel people can be and yet not even realise that what they are doing is wrong on so many levels. If we can spread the word and get some support for these local rescue organisations then hopefully over time with education and other resources things will improve for our little ... Read more

Usually cheaper but not always. So sometimes a hotel is the best option. Airbnb's often have a weekly or monthly rate which is very cheap and if you book a whole house/apartment then you can cook, watch tellly in the lounge do some work on the net, just like home. Something to do with -25 outside and -2 in the water as soon as you get in arms and legs stop working pretty quick. So, sometime they have to pull you out. But I think the real reason is to make you look like fishing bait for killer whales!
