His only goal has always been to please and reassure his base. These rants are to remind them he is on their side. As we get closer to the mid-term elections there will be more of these.

"the Palestinians won the hearts, minds and support of the world"

That sounds nice, until you remember that the world will do nothing except talk about it.

Israel with all the PR tools at its disposal, with the White House, both houses of Congress and the billionaire Zionist Jews still lost while the Palestinians won the hearts, minds and support of the world.
Who says so?
Israel military (IDF) says so.

Animals, shithole countries... he has a Teflon back when it comes to this stuff... because, I think, a lot of Americans actually like and agree with it. So while the leftists are in hysterics over Trump's latest controversial remark, millions of others are cheering him on. This is how he got elected in the first place.

They should have a right to protest, but at the same time they know Israel doesn't respect that right, and therefore that it's dangerous. It certainly doesn't seem to help them achieve their goals.

'Russian President Vladimir Putin had ordered an “influence campaign intended to undermine public faith in the US democratic process, denigrate Secretary Clinton, and harm her electability and potential presidency.”'

I'd be interested to see some examples of the denigration campaign against Hillary. For the most part all I saw was a massive campaign against Trump that failed miserably, with many embarrassed commentators who were sure he would lose, and still haven't recovered from the shock of it all.

We trust these people because they are our only hope, they are seen as sitting on the side of peace, as every media outlet - mainstream and alternative - is suggesting. But are they really? How can we seriously trust these people? Any objective analysis of the situaion should indicate that Europe can and will do very little, so their supposed sympathy for the deal counts for little in practice. But I'm a cynic and I think it goes beyond that: I smell the stench of corruption.

Aside from the rape crisis in India, maybe the gender imbalance is a good thing. I mean, how many Indian and Chinese people does the world really need? 2 billion of each? 3 billion? 5 billion? Really? Because had this imbalance not happened, that's where the population could be pretty soon.

Whether you think it's right or wrong to question how many Indians and Chinese people the world needs, the crisis is here anyway, and the population will suffer.

The Europeans have spent the last two years hurling nothing but ridicule at Trump, and now they expect their opinions, wants and needs to be considered?

Would you feel obliged to consider the concerns of a group of people who apparently hate you, if you could get away with dismissing them?

The fact is Trump can afford to ignore Europe on this one; he knows it and so do they.

The Europeans were warned very clearly that this could happen, but Trump himself, from before he was even elected. While everyone was busy trash-talking Trump, he was trash-talking the JCPOA and telling us what he might do. Despite that, European companies put billions of dollars on the line in the hope of making some profit. Maybe they should have thrown some money at the Trump campaign instead.

Think about it from Trump's perspective: he has copped nothing but abuse from Europe. Why the hell would he now give a damn about what the Europeans want? He knows America is powerful enough to ignore their demands.

Simple answer: no, Europe has not rebelled.
A few Europeans will be annoyed at getting locked out of Iran, but they'll get over it.
Those in charge probably support what Trump is doing but for the sake of the theatrical display, and to keep their peace-loving European voters happy, cannot admit it at the moment. So, they will pretend to be very disappointed with Trump, appear to take steps to fix the problem, and try to reassure Iran that everything will be OK, when they know it will not.

On Germany, it is in the position the winners of WWII put it in, and I would have thought they wanted Germany to stay in. Germany is still an occupied territory without an independent foreign policy. Germany is not supposed to take the lead in matters like this. They should be expected to shy away from participation in war, only doing it reluctantly and not taking the lead.

Now that the Iranian programme has been scaled right back, he doesn't think he needs the deal anymore. He can walk away, slap sanctions back on, then threaten to blow us to kingdom come if we restart the nuclear programme.

As far as arms controls are concerned, it might have the same effect. It's just that Iran doesn't get any reward for it.

The dangling sweetmeats have been yanked away. Oh well. They were stale, anyway, as we found out.
